SHOW HAIR & MAKEUP

Dress Rehearsals, Show Nights & Picture Day Hair & Make-up Requirements

HAIR AND MAKEUP  Each class will have a description of how each class, needs to wear their hair for each number. Make sure your child is ready by their call time on dress rehearsals and show nights with hair curled and makeup done and styled as directed by costume sheet for your child's first number. Parent volunteers will help students that need it to change their hair as they get ready for each number.
Makeup-JR Company: Makeup is acceptable on the big stage. Base, blush and natural lip or light gloss is fine in good taste, young girls are not allowed to wear red lipstick. Eye makeup should be kept to a minimum on young children. They tend to rub their eyes. Do not expect your child to do her own makeup and have it look good. They need guidance.
Makeup-SR Company Starlight: This is the performing group level where they should become more self sufficient, and will do their own makeup, and hair, but they still need guidance.  They have the choice of doing their makeup at home and coming in ready or using their dressing room to get ready before call time. SR company members are encouraged to help one another. By the time they are  promoted to K Star they are well versed in proper stage makeup, and hair, and should no longer need parent guidance.
NO GLITTER eyeshadow or makeup.
